these set of pics were shot during the first official EB of litratong pinoy, the meeting place was designated at the entrance of the manila cathedral, it just so happened that there was a wedding going on, so i helped myself and fired a few shot …
Binondo Church…
Binondo Church, also known as Minor Basilica of St. Lorenzo Ruiz was erected in 1596.

Over the centuries the original edifice has sustained considerable damage from earthquakes and other natural disasters. Today the octagonal bell tower is all that remains of the 16th century construction.

sampaguita at rizal monument
ang sampaguita ang nananatiling pambansang bulaklak ng pilipinas. kalimitan itong ginagawang kuwintas para isabit sa mga panauhing pandangal at tuwing araw ng pagtatapos. sa likod ay makikita ang isa pang kilalang tatak ng pilipinas, ang monumento ni rizal sa luneta park.
the sampaguita is the national flower of the philippines. it is usually made into a garland and are given to guest of honors and during graduation day. at the background you can see another world renowned icon of the philippines, the rizal monument at luneta park.

kalesa at manila hotel
ang kalesa ay isa pang tatak pinoy. bagama’t kakaunti na lamang ang mga ito, makikita pa rin sila bilang mga panturistang sakayan. sa likod naman ay makikita ang manila hotel, isa sa pinakamagandang hotel sa pilipinas.
the calesa is another trademark of the philippines. although they are few in numbers now a days, you can still see them as a tourist vehicle. at the background is the manila hotel, one of the finest hotel in the philippines.
