In Memoriam…

Kuya Cesar
Last May 18, a pioneer in radio broadcast breaths his last, 2 days after his 69th birthday. Cesar Nucum, popularly known as “Kuya Cesar” bids goodbye to all of us due to heart attack. He became popular as the radio announcer that speaks verrrrrrry slow.
One of his prized possession are his vinyl long playing records. I think he has the largest collections of LP records here in the philippines. When we were migrating to digital, he wants his records transferred to Mini Discs so he can played them ON-AIR. As a project, he gave me 10 to 15 records every night so we can transfer his favorite selections to MD’s. He doesn’t entrust his records just to anybody, i’m blessed enough to be trusted.
As he always say in his radio program in a very slow manner “u m u l a n s a n a n g p e r a”.
We will surely miss him.
